My Story

I'm a board-certified OB/GYN specializing in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecology. Serving Atlanta and Sandy Springs with compassionate, patient-centered care.

Why I Decided to Become a Doctor

I knew I wanted to be a doctor long before I fully understood what the word meant.

When I was six years old, I watched my father — who was a veterinarian — deliver a calf. I remember being struck by how fragile and powerful life is in the same moment. That experience stayed with me and ultimately led me to obstetrics and gynecology, a field where science, trust, and humanity meet every single day.

For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of caring for women through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. I’ve delivered thousands of babies, celebrated new beginnings, and also walked with patients through uncertainty, loss, and incredibly difficult decisions. Those moments shape you. They teach you humility. They remind you that medicine is not just about outcomes—it’s about presence.

My approach to care is simple: listen first, treat every patient as an individual, and never forget that behind every chart is a real person with real fears, hopes, and questions. Whether you are planning a pregnancy, navigating a high-risk condition, or simply looking for a provider who will advocate for you, my goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and supported.

I believe deeply in women’s health and women’s rights because I see, every day, how access to care and informed choice can change the course of a life—not just for a woman, but for her family and her future. This work is demanding, emotional, and sometimes heavy, but it is also a profound honor.

If you are thinking about becoming pregnant, have just found out that you are, or are seeking trusted gynecologic care, I invite you to reach out. I would be honored to walk alongside you.
